A pantsless Florida man was taken into custody after police caught him pleasuring himself with a pickle while on private property but in full view of the public. Officers responded to a property in Oldsmar, near Tampa Bay, after receiving a call just after 4pm. Upon their arrival, they encountered Eric Detiege, 47, and quickly placed him in cuffs.
- Detiege had no pants or underwear on when he was found. He was found lying on his back in front of a townhouse and is said to have had his penis in one hand and “a large uneaten pickle in his other hand,” according to the arrest report. The officer on the scene noted that Detiege was “using the pickle to penetrate his rectum while he was masturbating.”
- He was charged with misdemeanor exposure of sexual organs. As you can imagine, it’s illegal to expose yourself in public and certainly on private property in broad daylight. For his crime, Detiege was booked into Pinellas County jail and held on $150 bond, which seems a relatively small amount given the circumstances.
- As you can probably guess, Detiege already has a rap sheet. The Flying Cloud Mobile Home Park resident has previously been charged with and convicted for disorderly conduct, resisting police, theft, and criminal mischief. It should be noted that he also has a tattoo on his arm that reads: “Only God can judge me.”
- Why do people do this? There’s nothing wrong with self-pleasure, but do it in a private place, preferably the comfort of your own home or of a sexual partner’s. There’s no excuse for whipping your junk out in public, even if that’s your kink. No one else wants to see that and if caught, you will be arrested. Perhaps that’s part of the thrill?
