Pennsylvania Woman Burned 9-Year-Old Nephew’s Genitals With Cigarettes And Left Him To Die In Bathtub Clinton County Correctional Facility

A Pennsylvania woman has been arrested and charged with the death of her 9-year-old nephew after the young boy was found dead in her bathtub. Jamie Lynne Jackson, 36, was charged with homicide, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, concealing the death of a child, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse in relation to the death of Anson Landon Mitchell Stover, Penn Live reports. However, Jackson claims the child was still breathing when she left him in the tub where he was found.

  1. Jackson’s stories just don’t add up. She told police that when she found Stover, he was naked and had plastic tape around his neck and fluid coming from his mouth, though she failed to explain how he got this way. She then claimed she dressed him and put him into the bathtub in the home, checking on him periodically and telling him to “stop faking it.” She admits the child never responded or moved.
  2. She was seen furiously cleaning Stover’s room. A relative reported Jackson to police, saying that they witnessed her frantically cleaning Stover’s room with harsh chemicals, shampooing carpets, washing his clothes, and disposing of evidence. That’s when Lock Haven police turned up to look for the boy and found he was beyond saving.
  3. Jackson had custody of Stover and his three siblings since 2017. According to a report in the Patriot-News, Stover and his three siblings lived in Jackson’s house along with Jackson’s two biological children. All of the children living with Jackson were under the age of 12, and several were said to be home and present when Stover died.
  4. Stover had horrendous injuries on his body. An autopsy report revealed that Stover had significant injuries to his entire body including his head and neck, arms and legs, torso, and pelvic area. He also had bleeding on the brain and blood in his spinal cord as well as bruises and marks on his anus and private areas, including cigarette burns. Jackson offered no explanation for how this happened, but admitted that Stover had been having issues with defecating and urinating around the house.
  5. Jackson was arrested, charged, and held without bail. She was taken to Clinton County Correctional Facility where she was arraigned by a Magisterial District Judge on Wednesday, December 2. She’s currently being held without bail.
