While dogs and cats may be the most popular pet, that doesn’t mean they’re the most fun. As people who own chickens will tell you, they can be just as cool. In fact, many owners have been creating chicken coops that look like mini KFC restaurants as a tongue-in-cheek place for their brood to hang out and lay their eggs. I have to say, I really love this!
- Thankfully, no chickens were harmed. Is it a little macabre to put real chickens in a KFC hut? Perhaps, but it’s also clucking hilarious. Don’t worry – these chickens are happy pets and aren’t for eating. Plus, they’re none the wiser so I doubt they’ll be offended.
- Some of these KFC chicken huts are impressive! It’s not just the restaurant’s signage on the outside – the construction of the huts themselves is really incredible. They have doors, windows, and even little ladders for the chickens to walk up. I love it!
- Better yet, the chickens seem to love them too. The bright colors are really loved by the chickens, at least according to one guy on Reddit who built one for his birds. As long as they’re happy, we are!
