People Are Spray Painting Their Dead Plants To Give Them A Colorful New Life

If you have a hard time keeping plants alive, you’re not alone. It’s tough! Sometimes no matter how attentive you are, how much you try to give your greenery the right amount of light and water, it just withers up and dies and there’s nothing you can do about it. However, that doesn’t mean you have to dump them in the compost and give up! In fact, plenty of people are using spray paint to bring their dead plants back to colorful new life.

  1. It couldn’t be more simple to do. Even if you don’t have much of a green thumb, it doesn’t take any real expertise to do this. All you need to do is pick your spray paint colors, get your plants lined up, and give them a coating or two so that you get the color saturation of your preference.
  2. It’s so customizable, which is what makes it so much fun. I love the ability to put my own personal spin on things, so knowing that you can choose whatever color spray paint you want to coat your dead plans in is a great thing. Whether you prefer brighter colors like pinks and yellows or you want something a little more subtle like blues or greens, you really can do whatever you’d like!
  3. It saves you lots of money too. Instead of just dumping your plants and going to buy new ones, only for those to inevitably die too, spray painting your existing dead ones gives them a longer life which means less spending $$ for you. That has to be a good thing, right?
  4. They won’t last forever, but they’re great while they’re around. At the end of the day, these plants are dead and will eventually crumble and wither away so that even spray paint can’t help them. However, while you can, you can enjoy some beautiful, colorful decoration in and around your home and have a fun crafting project to do in the meantime.
