Pepsi Released An Apple Pie Flavor For Thanksgiving So You Can Drink Your Dessert Pepsi

When you sit down at the dinner table this Thanksgiving, chances are, you might pour yourself a glass or two of Pepsi. That comforting fizz is basically welcome at any meal, in my book, but especially when you’re truly about to feast. This year, that classic cola you’ve come to know and love has a new twist, however, because Pepsi has an Apple Pie flavor just for the holidays.

  1. Now you can drink your dessert! If making a pie from scratch seems like too much hard work and they’re all sold out at the grocery store, why not just knock out the middleman and get the apple pie flavors in soda form? It just seems like a no-brainer to me!
  2. Apple Pie Pepsi has all the flavors you would expect. The soda, which comes in 2-liter bottles, will have notes of buttery crust, cinnamon, and crisp apple, according to a Pepsi spokesperson. While it does seem like a bit of a novelty product it also sounds surprisingly yummy!
  3. This one’s for all the failed bakers out there. At the end of the day, Apple Pie Pepsi has been made with a very tongue-in-cheek approach. “Failing at baking—especially this year—is nothing to be ashamed of, and we’re celebrating those amateur bakers that are truly trying their best during a unique holiday season,” vice president of marketing Todd Kaplan said in a statement. “With Pepsi Apple Pie, we’re providing a refreshingly delicious twist on the traditional slice of apple pie, while making sure people have some fun and don’t take themselves too seriously in the process.”
  4. You can win a bottle for free, if that sounds good to you! Pepsi is giving away 1,500 bottles of their Apple Pie flavor as part of the #PepsiApplePie challenge. To win, you just need to head to their TikTok or Twitter account to share your own baking failures in picture or video form. Oh, and be sure to tag Pepsi and use the hashtag!
