With the holidays just around the corner, we’re getting closer and closer to the best snacking season ever. There’s no use denying that autumn and winter have some of the best treats, both sweet and savory, of the year, and Pillsbury’s hot cocoa rolls with marshmallow-flavored icing seriously top the list. Better yet, they’re already in supermarkets to buy!
- This isn’t the first time these have been around. Admittedly, Pillsbury has released hot cocoa rolls in the past. They’re a popular limited-edition flavor that’s been out around this time of year since 2018 if memory serves, so they’re not “new,” per se, but they are incredibly delicious.
- I’m not a hot chocolate fan but I do love these. I can’t bear all the dairy and heaviness of actual hot cocoa but I do love the flavors, and thankfully Pillsbury is here to indulge me. They took the traditional cinnamon roll and added the most classic of holiday flavors and I’m so here for it.
- The dough is hot cocoa-flavored. That takes over the classic cinnamon roll flavor, while the traditional cinnamon roll icing is replaced by a marshmallow flavored frosting that can be drizzled over the top for ultimate deliciousness.
- They’re inexpensive too! You can buy a tube of these for around $3.89 and they’ll be on sale through December, so you’ll want to get shopping ASAP. You won’t regret it!
