I’m A Plus-Size Teacher And My Students Beg Me Not To Eat Them

A plus-size kindergarten teacher has revealed some of the offensive yet often hilarious things her students say to her. Sue, or SueStyleVibes as she’s known on TikTok, has gone viral for sharing her classroom anecdotes, and once you watch her videos, it’ll be easy to see why.

I want to be clear, that I know my students love me. They are 3-5 years old. They say the first thing that comes to their heads most of the time. I’m not offended by their comments. They are curious and trust me. These comments usually lead to discussions about what makes people unique and special. Check out part 1 if you havent already. #educator #kindergarten #kindergartenlife #letstalk #laugh

  1. The kids don’t even realize what they’re saying. While you would think the students’ parents would teach them manners and what’s appropriate to say to other people, you can’t exactly blame the little ones for some of their clueless statements. And hey, it seems Sue has a really good sense of humor about it all. She captioned her most popular TikTok video: “I’ll never run out of material for these 😂 #educator #educatorlife #whatkidssay#justlaugh #laugh.”
  2. Some of the things they say beggar belief. Sue revealed that some of the kids beg her “please don’t eat me for lunch” while others have told her that “there are two types of people – some have a line body and some have circle bodies like you.” Another compared her to Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Other kids have even pointed out “prickles” on her legs, saying Sue’s leg hair was “like the grass outside” their apartment building.
  3. Not all of the comments from the kids are mean. Other comments she’s received include “your arm feels like a stress ball” and “you’re the prettiest girl in the world.” That’s really sweet! Whatever they say, Sue loves the kids she teaches and doesn’t hold anything against them.
  4. Many of the people who commented would not have been so chill about it. “The way I would get defensive and roast a small child 💀,” one person joked. Another added that they’d been in a similar position with their own students. “This had me howlin, kids have no filter. One time a kid pushed my belly and squealed ‘SQUISHHYYYY* 🤦🏽‍♀️,” they wrote. A third person pointed out that there’s not any malice involved, commenting: “The thing about kids, it’s usually quite innocent. it’s rarely meant as an insult unless they are much older.”
