Police Shocked To Find A Working Meth Lab In Oklahoma Man’s Pants

In what may be one of the craziest true crime stories you’ll hear this year, an Oklahoma man has been arrested after police discovered a fully working meth lab in his pants. David Buyckes, 28, was arrested in Tulsa after police spotted him acting suspiciously as he walked along East Skelly Drive near Yale, Fox 23 reports. However, they got more than they bargained for once they frisked him.

  1. Buyckes had an outstanding warrant. When police spoke to Buyckes, they soon discovered he had a warrant out for his arrest due to not paying a fine resulting from charges for giving cigarettes to a minor. But that wasn’t all!
  2. He had a working meth lab… in his pants! You have to give Buyckes credit here – when police searched his person, they discovered that Buyckles had a one-pot meth lab in a one-liter bottle in his pants pocket. The Tulsa Fire Department was called upon to dispose of the lab and Buyckes was arrested again.
  3. Buyckes now faces even more serious charges. Endeavoring to manufacture meth isn’t a minor crime and could carry a pretty hefty prison sentence with it should he be convicted. Given that he already has a criminal record, he may be in some pretty big trouble here.
  4. Tulsa Officer Leland Ashley says meth is a serious problem in the city. He points to Buyckes’ arrest as a perfect example of the city’s widespread meth problem and how small and compact those who make the drug have been able to make their operation.
