Police are looking for a man they believe defecated in a freezer at a grocery store in Moore, Oklahoma. According to local station KFOR (via the NY Daily News), a fellow shopper reported the incident to police after she unfortunately touched fecal matter when reaching into a unit to get a bag of pizza rolls. “I was upset, I was disgusted, I feel like I was violated,” shopper Shirley Wright-Johnson said.

- Wright-Johnson didn’t notice the poo until it was too late. As she explained, the excrement was between two bags in the freezer unit, which is why she was unable to see it before she reached in while shopping with her two children. When she felt something “smooshy,” she realized what had happened. “I was so disgusted I was almost in tears,” she said.
- Police confirmed the woman’s account. While this may seem like a sensationalized, false story, police have apparently confirmed that Wright-Johnson did indeed touch human waste. They also have a video of the alleged male suspect defecating in the unit.
- Pooing in the freezer wasn’t the suspect’s only crime. He was allegedly also photographing women while in the store. Lt. Kyle Johnson with the Moore Police Department described the incident as “disturbing” and insisted that “we don’t see this much.”
- Wright-Johnson said the smell remained even after she washed her hands. She also revealed that the store’s corporate office offered her free steaks in compensation for her troubles. Police are looking for tips from anyone who might recognize or be able to identify the suspect.
