Police Officer Charged With Pleasuring Himself In Front Of Family During Domestic Violence Call

A Bay Area police officer has been charged with masturbating in front of a family after responding to a frantic domestic violence call, according to the San Francisco Gate. Matthew Dominguez, 32, was charged by the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office with misdemeanor indecent exposure after responding to the April 21 call regarding a restraining order.

  1. The family called about another member against whom they had a domestic violence restraining order. The unidentified man had reportedly violated the order by coming to the family’s home, according to the District Attorney’s Office statement. That’s when things went extremely downhill.
  2. Dominguez and two other officers arrived at the scene. There, they met with the mother, identified as Ms. S; the father, Mr. A; and their 23-year-old daughter. Dominguez is said to have taken the “lead investigative role.”
  3. Dominguez started by talking to the daughter. According to the statement: “Officer Dominguez took interest in her and continued to interact almost exclusively with her.” The daughter is said to have given Dominguez a possible location, at which point Dominguez ordered the other two officers to conduct the search. He then “milled around the home” and “he managed to keep the daughter in view of his Body Worn Camera.”
  4. When the unidentified man’s GPS monitor was produced, things got out of hand. The mother alleged that Dominguez then unzipped his pants and began rubbing his crotch, an incident which the daughter also allegedly witnessed. Soon after, the daughter went into the kitchen to get a glass of water for her mother and Dominguez is said to have followed her into the kitchen.
  5. Dominguez was up to no good. Ms. S said she “saw Officer Dominguez’s penis outside of his pants fully exposed,” the statement continued. The women then went to get Mr. A, who came into the kitchen and “saw Officer Dominguez facing out of the kitchen with his erect penis in his left hand and his right hand on the counter.” Mr. A then left the house followed by Dominguez, who returned to work.
  6. Dominguez’s behavior was disturbing, to say the least. “The charged behavior is beyond disturbing,” District Attorney Jeff Rosen said. “Law enforcement officers respond to our homes to help crime victims, not terrorize, traumatize, and create new victims.”
