Whoever’s running Pope Francis’s Instagram account is in big trouble, as they’ve been caught red-handed liking a model’s picture. Natalia Garabotto shared a racy snap of herself on the social media platform on October 5, but the photo only recently started making wider rounds after it was noticed that the Pope’s account seemed to have a particular appreciation for the schoolgirl-clad model.

- Natalia thinks it’s hilarious. Talking to Barstool Sports, Natalia admitted she found the idea of the 83-year-old religious leader liking her picture pretty hilarious, joking that “at least [she’s] going to heaven.” She added: “My mum may hate my ass pics but the Pope be double-tapping.”
- To be fair, the Pope is pretty progressive. While it’s obvious that Pope Francis doesn’t run his own Instagram account (well, one assumes!), he is probably the most progressive leader of the Catholic church yet and has previously described sex as “simply divine.” Just sayin’!
- I think someone might be losing their job over this. Whoever it was who was scrolling the ‘Gram while logged into Pope Francis’s account will likely be looking for another job in social media soon since this is pretty embarrassing. Personally, I find it more hilarious than anything else, but I imagine there will be many people who aren’t amused.
- In the meantime, Natalia must be feeling pretty good! I mean, is there much higher praise than having a photo liked by the Pope? I think not!
