When you think of Post Malone, a nice glass of rosé probably isn’t the first alcohol that comes to mind. I always imagine him enjoying something a bit headier, a bit rougher around the edges. Well, how wrong I was! Ol’ Posty is releasing his own wine and it’s elegant as hell. Franky, I can’t wait to buy a bottle (or a case!).
Maison No. 9
- Post Malone’s wine is called Maison No. 9. According to Delish, the name is inspired by the rapper’s favorite tarot card (?), the Nine of Swords. To develop the drink, Posty worked with James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities, a longtime friend of his, as well as music manager and Founder of London Entertainment Dre London.
- This isn’t your standard celebrity booze. Post Malone was actually involved in the production of the wine, and he and his team sampled more than 50 blends before deciding on the right one for Maison No. 9. The final product has a “Provencal Pink” color and the flavors of “ripe pineapple, pear, and strawberry, meet hints of sweet French desserts once uncorked.” Sounds pretty tasty to me!
- Post Malone’s wine is perfect for “when you want to get fancy.” You probably haven’t felt very fancy lately, and I get it. Allow Posty’s wine to help with that. “Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy,” he said in a press release. “It’s a nice switch up and I have been thinking about doing my own wine for a while. It was great to work with Global Brand Equities because they saw the vision and we got to do some super cool stuff. Maison No. 9 goes down smooth, and you’re all going to love it!”
- It’s out next month so there’s not long to wait. If you want to get your hands on a bottle of Post Malone wine, you’re in luck — it should arrive on store shelves in June. The costs are pretty average, with bottles available in 750mL, 1.5mL and 3L costing $21.99, $44.99, and $89.99 respectively.
