Pringles And Wendy’s Have Teamed Up To Make Baconator Chips

Pringles And Wendy’s Have Teamed Up To Make Baconator Chips

I have no shame in admitting I love Pringles. They’re not really potato chips as such, but they are absolutely delicious, especially the BBQ and the Sour Cream & Onion varieties. However, I feel like I might have a new favorite flavor now that Pringles is making Wendy’s Baconator chips because hello, that’s incredible!

  1. First of all, Wendy’s Baconators are so damn good. While McDonald’s wins the game when it comes to french fries, Wendy’s is the king of burgers in my heart. The Baconator has to be one of the most popular items on their menu, and for good reason: it’s super yummy. Half a pound worth of beef burgers, six slices of Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, ketchup, mayo, and fluffy buns.
  2. It’s hard to imagine how Wendy’s Baconators can be reduced to a Pringles tube. You wouldn’t think it’s possible but it clearly is! I can’t vouch for whether or not they’re delicious and manage to capture all of the nuances of all the different ingredients but I’d certainly be willing to give it a try.
  3. They’re nearly impossible to find. Instagrammer @ryanblashka found these at Festival Foods in Wisconsin but so far, no one else has been able to find Wendy’s Baconator flavored Pringles. It’s possible, I suppose, that the flavor is exclusive to that store, but that seems a little too random. Maybe Pringles is simply testing these in specific markets before deciding to give them a wider release? Here’s hoping.
  4. More food collabs please, Pringles. While it’s not always possible to successfully distill whole foods into a potato chip flavor, I feel like I’d be totally game for more fast food collabs. McDonald’s chicken nugget Pringles? Taco Bell Cheesy Gordita Pringles? In-N-Out Animal-style Fries Pringles? I mean, I could keep going here but I think you get my drift.
