Former porn star Ron Jeremy now faces 330 years behind bars if found guilty of sexual assault after the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office brought seven new charges against him involving five women and a 17-year-old girl, Deadline reports. The offenses, which include rape and other sexual offenses, are said to date back to 1996 and happened in the years leading up to 2013.
- That wasn’t even all the charges that could have been brought against him. While the seven additional charges Jeremy is now facing are horrific in and of themselves, what’s even scarier is that there were 14 more charges that were unable to be mentioned in court as they happened outside the statute of limitations.
- Jeremy has been accused of so many crimes. At present, Jeremy is facing charges ranging from “a total of 11 counts of forcible rape, eight counts of sexual battery by restraint, six counts of forcible oral copulation, five counts of forcible penetration by a foreign object,” Deadline reports, and that’s not even all of them.
- He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges. However, he’s also been unable to post the $6.6 million bail that’s been set, so he’s been in jail since his initial arrest in June 2020.
- He’s due back in court in December. Jeremy’s next court appearance is scheduled for December 1, and it will serve as a preliminary hearing prior to a full trial. While he previously faced up to 250 years in prison if found guilty of all the charges against him, that has now been increased to 330 years with the additional seven charges.
