When it comes to chewy candy, Skittles are definitely the best. The fruity, sugary sweets are total classics, and now they’ve been transformed into an all-new product that’s going to be your favorite this summer. That’s right, Skittles Freezer Pops exist and while warmer weather may be a couple of months away still, I’m ready to stock up now.
- Freezer pops are the best summer snack. Who else grew up eating freezer pops as a kid? I lived on them, though they weren’t Skittles ones since they didn’t exist. We may all be adults now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t relive some of our childhood glory by indulging in these babies!
- Skittles Freezer Pops come in so many good flavors. The boxes come with 10 freezer pops in a variety of flavors: Orange (orange), Strawberry (red), Green Apple (green), and Grape (purple). Unlike actual Skittles, there’s no lemon flavor here, but I don’t think anyone will be mad at that. Someone save me the grape ones!
- They’re already hitting stores. While a wide release is likely a few weeks or months off, some people have already been spotting Skittles Freezer pops at their local shops. Instagrammer @foodiewiththebeasts found them at their local Dollar General for only $1 while The Impulsive Buy got theirs at H-E-B. In other words, they’re already out there in the wild!
- Time to clear out space in your freezer! If this sounds like your dream product, you’re not alone. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love freezer pops and the fact that these come in fruity Skittles flavors just makes them even better. When you do manage to get a hold of a box or two, you just need to pop them in the freezer until they get solid since they come in liquid form. From there, you’re ready to party (and yes, I do consider eating my weight in freezer pop “partying”).
