It’s hard to believe that we’re officially into summer now and July 4th is just around the corner. While 2020 certainly isn’t like any year that’s come before and this holiday isn’t without its issues, Independence Day is an excuse to enjoy some sunshine and a BBQ with your friends and family. It’s also the perfect time to swing by SONIC for their Red, White, & Blue Slush Float. It looks so good!
- If you’re feeling patriotic, this is the way to indulge. You don’t need to hang American flags out your window or go blasting the National Anthem to get in your feelings about being from the U.S. (and to be honest, that’s a little problematic anyway). However, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying a themed beverage that tastes good and helps beat the heat, right?
- Sonic’s Red, White, & Blue Slush Float has a layer of vanilla ice cream in it! In fact, the drink has three distinct layers to give you the tri-color effect. You get a blue layer of SONIC’s delicious Blue Raspberry Slush followed by the aforementioned layer of vanilla soft serve, then a topping of Strawberry Real Fruit Slush. Oh man, it sounds perfect!
- It’s only around for a limited time, of course. While I feel like the Red, White, & Blue Slush Float would make a great addition to SONIC’s menu all year long (or at least all summer long), in reality it’s only around for a little over a month. You can order at your local SONIC from June 29 and it’ll stick around until August 2nd.
- If you really love it, you can even get some SONIC swag. The SONICSwagShop webshop will be offering up some commemorative drink floats for $7 but you’ll have to be quick on these as well since they’re expected to sell out quickly.
