Sour Patch Kids are my go-to candy whenever I go to the movies (gotta have it with my popcorn) or even when I’m sitting on the couch watching Netflix and just want something sweet. They’re a total classic, and now they’re making things even more interesting by releasing a new mystery flavor. Better yet, if you can guess what it is, you could win $50,000 or a whole host of other prizes.

- Sour Patch Kids wants you to play detective. We all love a mystery, right? If you do, you’re in for a real doozy here. “For the first time ever, SOUR PATCH KIDS is introducing a mystery flavor, inviting fans everywhere to guess the flavor for a chance to win $50,000,” a press release reads.
- You’ve got a while to make your guesses. The challenge to guess the Sour Patch Kids Mystery flavor, also known as the Mystery Kid, only just started on April 15 and will run all the way until August, which is when the brand will reveal all AND one lucky guesser who got it right will be awarded with all that money.
- Even if you don’t win the money, you could win other prizes. Sour Patch Kids is also offering some Instant Win prizes as part of this competition including a mini drone, a tablet, a camera, and loads of other cool stuff. I mean, I think I’d rather have the money, but I’ll take anything!
- You’ll get some help along the way. As you can imagine, figuring out the new mystery flavor of Sour Patch Kids won’t be easy. They’ll likely make it pretty complex and unexpected to make it harder to guess. However, the brand will also be releasing regular clues on social media to help you along your way. In fact, the first one will be revealed today, so make sure you’re taking notes!
