Whether or not you consider yourself a Star Wars fan, you have to admit that TIE Fighters are pretty awesome. The starfighters, made by Sienar Fleet Systems for the Galactic Empire, are fast, agile, and really cool, which is why pretty much everyone will want a TIE Fighter fire pit in their back yard ASAP.
- A fire pit is great for every season. Whether you’re sitting outside during hot summer nights with friends and some delicious drinks or keeping cozy on the freezing winter evenings, you can’t go wrong with a fire pit. Having a Star Wars TIE Fighter-shaped fire pit just takes things from functional to effin’ amazing in no time.
- Michael Finney makes them by hand. As documented on his Instagram account, Michael Finney is a welder, fabricator, and artist who creates some pretty incredible things. From Dark Vader fire pits to the TIE Fighter one, he’s bringing his love of Star Wars to life in some impressive ways.
- It just looks cool. Even if the people who visit your back yard have no idea that your fire pit is a Star Wars TIE Fighter, what they will know is that it looks really awesome. It will keep you warm or just provide some great ambiance and what more can you ask for?
- So how can you get one? You’d have to reach out to Finney via his DMs on his Instagram page or even his Facebook page to ask about that. It’s unclear how often he does commissions, how much they cost, and how long it would take before this could be in your back yard. You’d also need to probably live close to him so you could pick it up since it’s unlikely that something like this would ship well. However, if you really want one, you’ll find a way. I believe in you!
