Another day, another Starbucks Secret Menu drink you seriously need to try. Sure, the coffee giant has plenty of yummy drinks on the main menu, but part of the fun of getting your daily brew there is being able to customize your beverage in all sorts of fun and creative ways. Totally The Bomb is doing just that yet again with their recipe for Hot Chocolate Cold Brew. Believe me, you’ll want to order one ASAP.
- It’s seasonal and energizing. Hot chocolate is great and all, but it lacks the buzz of traditional coffee. That’s why Starbucks’ Hot Chocolate Cold Brew is so genius. You can feel like you’re celebrating Christmas but you’ll also be able to wake up and start to focus in the morning. Double whammy!
- Again, this is for all my winter iced coffee drinkers. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I loved iced coffee all year round, no matter how cold it gets. Being able to enjoy cold brew while also getting in the holiday spirit is pretty much my ideal scenario.
- The same caveat as previous Secret Menu drinks still applies. Because the Hot Chocolate Cold Brew isn’t on Starbucks’ official menu, you can’t order it by name, so you probably shouldn’t try. Instead, you’ll be making adjustments to a drink that IS on the menu, so listen closely!
- Want one yourself? Here’s how to get it. You start by ordering a Venti Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. To that, you’ll be adding Mocha Sauce, Toasted White Mocha Sauce, and Chocolate Powder among other ingredients, but to find out how much, you’ll need to head over to Totally The Bomb for the full recipe. You can see a TikTok of it being made HERE.
