Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha Cold Brew Is Perfect For The Holiday Season

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love cold coffee even in freezing temps. That’s why I automatically dump the hot lattes and go for iced drinks even in winter, and Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha Cold Brew is just the thing I need to get me in the holiday spirit. Seriously, this stuff is good.

  1. Not everyone wants a hot drink, okay?! Yes, I know it’s freezing outside and we all want to stay cozy and warm, but my NYC apartment blasts the heat from November onwards, so I’m plenty toasty indoors. Given that I generally pick up my coffee and bring it home, I think I can handle a little ice in it.
  2. This is another secret menu drink, y’all! The Peppermint Mocha Cold Brew should be on the actual Starbucks menu, but it’s not. In fact, this is another amazing creation from Totally The Bomb, who we can always count on for delicious caffeinated concoctions.
  3. As far as custom drinks go, this one is pretty simple. Again, since this one isn’t on the actual menu, if you try to order it by name, the barista will look at you like you’ve lost your marbles. Instead, start by ordering a Venti Cold Brew then add varying amounts of Peppermint Syrup, Mocha Sauce, Cold Foam, and Chocolate Curls. It would be no fun to give it all away here, so you’ll need to head over to Totally The Bomb for the full recipe. It’s only fair since they came up with it!
  4. This is such a good holiday beverage! If you’re having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit, you definitely won’t once you try this. Definitely give ordering a Peppermint Mocha Cold Brew a go the next time you’re at your local Starbucks. You won’t be sorry!
