Sugar Cookie-Flavored Hershey’s Kisses Are Reportedly Headed Our Way For The Holidays Meijer/Hershey's

Admittedly, I’m a bit of a Grinch about many (okay, most) things in life, but I do love the holidays. Everything about the Christmas season — well, really anything from October through the end of December — I’m crazy about. Everyone’s spirits are bright, there’s loads of good stuff on TV, you can eat without worrying about calories… it’s just the best. And now that Hershey’s Kisses is apparently releasing a Sugar Cookie flavor, I seriously can’t wait for this year.

  1. Seasonal flavors are the best. I’m not into pumpkin spice anything so that trend can and does miss me every year. However, Christmassy flavors are always solid, and sugar cookies are a holiday must-have. The fact that Hershey’s is translating a classic Chrismas treat into a Kiss is just genius.
  2. It’s unclear when they’ll be out. Sugar Cookie Hershey’s Kisses were actually spotted by Instagrammer @candyhunting, who noticed the project on grocery giant Meijer’s website. While the product isn’t searchable on there, a quick Google trip shows that they are a thing, they’re just not for sale quite yet.
  3. How do you put a sugar cookie in a Hershey’s Kiss? Easily enough, I suppose. According to the bag, they’re made of sugar cookie-flavored white creme and little cookie pieces that are red and green in color, perfect for Christmas. Even the wrappers are metallic silver with little holiday designs like trees, ornaments, and bells on them.
  4. They’ll likely be out after Halloween. As we know, the US has no chill when it comes to putting holiday products out well before the big day. Once Halloween is over on October 31, I can pretty much guarantee we’ll start seeing Christmas displays and products being put out, meaning there are only a few short months before Sugar Cookie Hershey’s Kisses start hitting shelves. Frankly, I can’t wait!
