Euphoria Star Sydney Sweeney Works As A Mechanic When She’s Not Acting

Sydney Sweeney may be a successful Hollywood actress, well known for shows like “Euphoria” and “The White Lotus,” but she has a second job as a mechanic when she’s not on camera. In between acting jobs, Sweeney did a stint at a garage and is now working on restoring her dream car, a vintage cherry red 1969 Bronco. Is there anything she can’t do?

She’s so dedicated to her role as a mechanic that Sydney Sweeney even started her own TikTok account, @syds_garage, to document the process of restoring the Bronco and show off her handiwork. It’s been so successful that she’s even making a line of utility wear with Dickies and Ford.

Sweeney has always loved cars, telling BAZAAR.com that even when she was a kid, she loved the look of older vehicles. “I’ve always been a huge fan of vintage vehicles,” she said. “My babysitters (twin sisters) when I was little actually used to be race car drivers, and I’d go to the track a lot, and I thought I was going to be a race car driver when I grew up.”

However, it wasn’t until she started filming “Euphoria” that she actually decided to pursue her passion and learn how to restore cars. The time she had between shooting seasons of the show gave her the perfect opportunity to beef up her skills. She asked a family friend if she could work in his garage so she could learn to become a mechanic.

“My best friend’s Dad, Rod Emory, he builds and restores classic Porches. I brought it [the Branco] to his shop and he cleared out a section for me,” she told GQ. “I changed the transmission, I changed all the brakes, all the interior – pretty much everything on the car.”

So there you have it! Not only is Sydney Sweeney an amazing actress, she’s also a talented mechanic. (She also happens to have the “best tits in Hollywood,” according to her grandparents, but that’s neither here nor there!)
