Teacher Wears Extremely Detailed Full Body Suit To Teach Students About Human Anatomy

While there’s no doubt that many teachers try their best to engage students, there’s also no doubt that school, for many of us, was incredibly boring. It was all too easy to tune out the lessons and daydream about being anywhere else, but Verónica Duque recently displayed an ingenious method of imparting anatomy lessons on her class that no one could ignore.

  1. Her husband was so proud! The images of Duque in her suit were posted on Twitter by her husband, Mike Moratinos, who praised his wife’s creative approach to teaching. “Very proud of this volcano of ideas that I am lucky to have as a woman,” he wrote on the social media website. “Today he explained the human body to his students in a very original way. And the kids freaking out. Great Veronica !!!”
  2. This bodysuit is FIRE. The 43-year-old, who teaches natural and social science, art, English, and Spanish, was inspired when shopping online to get the extremely detailed swimsuit showcasing the inner workings of the human body so she could use it to teach her students. Frankly, it looks like it worked. “I was surfing the internet when an ad of an AliExpress swimsuit popped up,” Duque told Bored Panda. “Knowing how hard it is for kids this young to visualize the disposition of internal organs, I thought it was worth it giving it a try.”
  3. Duque believes in venturing off the beaten path when it comes to imparting lessons. She understands that it’s important to be creative when it comes to teaching if she wants the kids in her class to pay attention and actually absorb the information, so the human anatomy bodysuit is just one of her unique approaches. “I decided long ago to use disguises for history lessons. I’m also using cardboard crowns for my students to learn grammatical categories such as nouns, adjectives, and verbs. Different grammar kingdoms, so to say,” she explained. “I’d like society to stop considering teachers to be lazy bureaucratic public servants. We’re certainly not.”
  4. We need more teachers like this. Duque was certainly daring and very brave to put on a full-length bodysuit just to teach anatomy, but then, it shows just how dedicated she is to teaching and to making sure her students see learning as a fun process rather than something they simply have to do. We could use more teachers like her out there!
