Right now, it’s perfectly fine for you to party until the sun rises — but that same behavior won’t be acceptable when you’re a mother in her 50s. When you’re older, you’ll have more responsibilities, which means you’ll have less time for fun. That’s why you should get these things out of your system while you’re still young:

  1. Get wasted. Enjoy your younger years, when your body can actually handle alcohol. In a few decades, you’re going to be waking up with massive headaches and the urge to take off of work for a full week.
  2. Sleep around. You can’t sleep around after you find your soulmate and settle down with him. If you want to have animalistic sex with strangers, then do it now, before you run into Mr. Right.
  3. Travel. You don’t want to wait until you’re retired to travel the world. Do it now, before you end up at your dream job that never allows you to take time off.
  4. Attend concerts. When you’re older, you’ll still be able to listen to your favorite bands, but you won’t be able to crowd surf and mosh anymore. If that’s what you’re into, then get it out of your system while you still can.
  5. Change your hair. If you want blue hair, it’ll be easier for you to pull it off now than ten years from now. Don’t be afraid to experiment with something like hair color, especially since it washes out.
  6. Date the wrong men. Sometimes, it’s fun to hang out with a crowd that you know you don’t belong in. When you’re young, there’s nothing wrong with having a casual relationship with someone that you know won’t be around for long.
  7. Bounce around between jobs. The best time to try out different career paths is when you’re still young. That way, when you’re older, you won’t question your career choice and end up quitting a steady job you’ve had for years.
  8. Splurge on clothes. Yes, it’s important to save up your money. But if you’re dying to splurge on something big, you might as well do it when you’re young and have less debts to pay off.
  9. Visit clubs. Whether you’re drinking or not, you can’t go out to clubs every night once you’ve settled down. That’s why you should hit the clubs now to get the full experience.
  10. Temp fate. You should go bungee jumping and sky diving while your heart is at its healthiest. Besides, if you want to live life to the fullest, you should start today.
