Tiny Feet Fingernails Exist To Fuel All Your Nightmares

Strange beauty trends exist to bemuse, delight, and outright freak us out sometimes, and these nails that feature tiny acrylic feet are both perplexing and terrifying. Created by Los Angeles nail artist extraordinaire Nail Sunny, they’re impressively detailed and ridiculously freaky.

  1. These took so much hard work! In a short video tutorial posted to their Instagram account, you can see that the nail technician starts with plain acrylic nails that need to be sanded down, trimmed, cut, and shaped to look like the tops and bottoms of feet.
  2. The toenails are even painted! Once the tops of the feet are finally shaped, the tiny feet even get an adorable (yet freaky) coat of red nail polish on the toenails. Some of them even have ankle bracelets around the “ankle.”
  3. Some of the nails have the soles of the feet. They look slightly dirty and in need of a wash, but that detailing is necessary to allow you to know what you’re looking at since it adds depth/differentiates between the heel and forefront of the sole of the foot. Again, terrifying but impressive!
  4. These are admittedly not for everyone. Frankly, I can’t do anything like typing or working with my natural nails when they get too long, so I’ve never understood how people with crazy long acrylics get anything done! Having mini feet on your fingernails probably doesn’t make that any easier, admittedly, so if you need your hands for anything, you might want to skip out on these.
  5. They’re incredibly creative, I’ll give them that. You can always count on Nail Sunny to bring you the craziest, most unique and creative nail ideas out there and they’re always executed to perfection. (Take these pickle nails, for instance.) Even if they’re not something you would ever wear, you have to give them credit for coming up with something so original!
