This Toilet Paper Cake Looks So Real, You’ll Want To Put It In Your Bathroom

One of the strangest things to come out of the crazy state of the world right now has to be the world’s obsession and panic buying of toilet paper. It’s not like we’re ever going to run out of the stuff or that one of the symptoms is spending endless hours on the toilet, but that hasn’t stopped people from grabbing as many rolls as they can. It’s this bizarre trend that inspired Ben Cullen, otherwise known as the King of Cake, when he made this insanely realistic toilet paper cake.

  1. How does it look so real?! When you take a quick glance at this cake, you would literally think it’s just a plain old roll of actual toilet paper. Nothing special, right? Wrong! This incredibly detailed roll can be cut open to reveal layers of vanilla cake sandwiched with chocolate icing within. He even got the swirls on the roll right!
  2. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think it belonged in the bathroom! Seriously, because this thing looks so real, I would literally stack this cake with the rest of the rolls of toilet paper in my bathroom. Thankfully, I know better and I would eat it instead, haha!
  3. It’s a funny joke but it actually sends an important message. As Cullen captioned the post with the photos of the cake, “If everyone took this pandemic as seriously as we apparently take toilet roll we’ve got half a chance! Look out for yourselves, your families and anyone vulnerable you can help!”
  4. Hopefully people still stop hoarding toilet paper soon. Seriously, people. I’m sure you have enough of it and that you’ll be able to get a hold of more when your supply actually does get desperately low. In the meantime, leave some stuff for those who actually need it. It’s only right.
