When you head to Las Vegas, a few things are pretty much guaranteed: you’ll have a great time, you’re going to drink too much, and you’re probably going to lose some money. However, one tourist recently did the exact opposite, heading to the strip with only $5 and leaving with more than $10 million, Fox 5 Vegas reports. Yes, really.

The player, from California, has not been named.

You can’t blame the lucky gambler for wanting to stay anonymous, especially considering how unlikely their win truly was.

However, IGT Jackpots did say that the player started at the Megabucks slot machine in Aria with only $5. However, they had a seriously lucky few pulls as they managed to hit a windfall of more than $10.1 million.

This is extremely uncommon, of course.

While you might feel tempted to plan your next trip to Vegas to try your own luck, you should know that there have only been 20 multi-millionaires that hit since the machines were first brought out back in 2005. Not exactly great odds.

Nevertheless, IGT Jackpots was thrilled to announce the win on social media.

“🤩 ANOTHER HUGE MEGABUCKS™ JACKPOT! 🤩 One lucky player from California became the latest Megabucks™ millionaire with this life-changing win from a $5 bet at @AriaLV! The player won $10.1 MILLION playing Megabucks™ Gold Forge™ Slots,” they wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
