Trader Joe’s Is Selling Cookie Butter Beer Now, So Time To Start Drinking

Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookie Butter has been one of the store’s most deliciously popular offerings for years, so it only seems natural that the company would try to merge it with another product that pretty much everyone loves: beer. That’s right, Trader Joe’s now has Cookie Butter Beer and that means I’m about to start drinking ASAP.

  1. The beer was first announced back in July. We learned earlier this summer that Trader Joe’s was planning the release of the Cookie Butter Beer along with three other varieties: Coffee Peanut Butter Cup Porder, Ginger Beard Spiced Stout, and Toasty Cookie Spice Cider. However, like many people, it was the Speculoos that caught my attention.
  2. It’s now been spotted on shelves! Instagrammer @thesnacksoflife managed to find Cookie Butter Beer at her local Trader Joe’s and immediately shared it with her audience, though it’s unclear if she actually bought a bottle or two. That being said, at least we know it’s starting to be sold!
  3. Seriously, this stuff sounds delicious. The description on the bottle reads: “Made with whole vanilla beans, milk sugar, and toasted coconut, this full-bodied ale pairs with just about any treat topped with your favorite deliciously unusual Cookie Butter spread from our friends at Trader Joe’s.” Enough already, I want some!
  4. Each bottle has an ABV of 5.5%. That’s pretty average but still worth knowing. Check your local store to see if it’s available yet. If not, it should be there soon. (And in the meantime, they have plenty of other yummy snacks and drinks to stock up on, so it’s really a win-win situation.)
