Trader Joe’s Is Selling A Grinch Tree Just In Time For Christmas Trader Joe's

Christmas is just around the corner, and with Thanksgiving just about over, it’s time to start putting up your decorations and getting into the holiday spirit. If you’re a bit of a Grinch, don’t worry — Trader Joe’s is now selling a Cyprus Grump Tree which will likely make even the grumpiest grump’s heart grow three sizes.

Scroll down to find out more about the new awesome addition to TJ’s seasonal lineup.

  1. It’s the perfect decoration. The Grump Tree comes in a 4-inch pot that’s contained inside a red sack and green rope for the perfect decorative look. Even the tree has a red ribbon wrapped around it and the top is weighted down by a red and green ornament, just like the real Grinch tree.
  2. It smells like lemon. Because this tree is a lemon cypress, it smells like lemon, duh. I’m always looking to freshen up my living space, so a nice light citrus smell is A+ in my books.
  3. It can be replanted. The Grinch tree is perfectly sized to keep on your desk or elsewhere in your house, but it also doesn’t have to be kept indoors. You can replant the tree using the included directions and it will grow up to 30-feet tall and 20-feet wide! If you have the space in your back yard or garden, why not?
  4. They’re really inexpensive. Priced between $7.99 and $8.99 depending on location, who wouldn’t want a Grinch tree to perk up their holiday decorations? I’m not saying this should take the place of your actual Christmas tree, but it can certainly accentuate the merriment, right?
  5. You’ll need to act quickly. These things are understandably selling like hotcakes, so you’ll want to get to your local TJ’s to pick up your tree ASAP to make sure you get one. I don’t know about you, but I don’t plan on missing out on a very Grinch-y Christmas season.
