Khloe Kardashian‘s ex-husband Tristan Thompson is known for his philandering ways, and he’s rather shameless about it. He just can’t seem to help himself when it comes to sleeping with any and every woman who’s silly enough to go near him (and there seem to be a lot). However, many people think it was a bit of a low blow that Tristan Thompson was spotted cozying up to a mystery woman in Calabasas only a few days after Khloe gushed about him in a lengthy Instagram post for his birthday. Embarrassing!
- Khloe and Tristan have (apparently) ended their romantic relationship for good. However, they’re still co-parents to 4-year-old True and a 9-month-old son born via surrogate last summer. And while Tristan doesn’t seem all that bothered about the other children he’s fathered, he has (again, apparently) remained an active part of the Kardashian kids’ lives. (A cynical person might say he just wants to stick close to the most powerful family in Hollywood, but whatever…)
- Khloe was pretty effusive about Tristan on Instagram. While Tristan and Khloe are no longer in a romantic relationship, many fans wondered if they planned to rekindle things (or already had) after reading Khloe’s praised-filled post. Along with a bunch of photos of Tristan, Khloe wrote: “You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles. My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation.”
- The message seemed to indicate a rekindling to many people. To me, it seems like she was praising him for at least being a decent dad despite being an absolute twat as a partner. However, many who read the message thought Khloe was fawning all over Tristan and that she clearly wanted him back. In fact, some speculated they were already back together. Others simply pointed out that Tristan isn’t actually a good parent at all to his other kids. Khloe eventually turned off comments on the post.
- A couple of days later, Tristan Thompson went appliance shopping in Calabasas with a new mystery woman. They shared a quick hug in the parking lot and had a short chat, but it didn’t really go beyond that. There was no PDA and no indication that the relationship between them was in any way romantic. (However, with Tristan, it’s usually safe to assume it is.) Of course, the Daily Mail managed to get hold of pap pics of the non-event.
- It didn’t take long for fans to kick off on social media. Given that a source (read: an intern who was told to make up some quotes for a story) told Us Weekly only a few days before that Tristan was desperately trying to get Khloe back so they could “make things work,” him being spotted with another woman didn’t bode well. They again pointed out that Tristan was in some way screwing Khloe over and was a terrible person. Gotta love the internet.
