Drunk Tyson Foods CFO Walked Into Random Woman’s Home And Fell Asleep In Her Bed Washington County Jail

John R. Tyson, the CFO of Tyson Foods, was placed under arrest after he got so drunk that he walked into a random woman’s home and fell asleep in her bed.

In documents obtained by KNWA, the 32-year-old was found by the homeowner asleep in her bed in Washington County, Arkansas at roughly 2:05 a.m. She immediately called police, insisting that she did not know the man and had not invited him into her home. She reportedly told the 911 dispatcher that she believes she left the front door unlocked and that’s how Tyson had gained entry before his eventual arrest.

Officers found him in the bedroom when they arrived. John R. Tyson was still asleep when police got to the house to arrest him. Documents reveal that they tried to wake him up but that he was incoherent and unable to speak. While he sat up for a minute, he just wanted to go back to sleep.

Needless to say, Tyson was not sober. Responding officers say that his breath reeked of booze and that he was “sluggish and uncoordinated,” per Law&Crime.

The company has been made aware of its CFO’s behavior. Tyson Foods spokesperson Derek Burleson told KNWA in a statement: “We’re aware of the incident and as this is a personal matter, we have no additional comment.”

John R. Tyson is the son of John H. Tyson, the company board chairman. The younger Tyson is only said to have become CFO on October 2 of this year.

Tyson was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass and was released after posting $415 bond.
