The USA Kids Mullet Championship Finalists Are Here And They’re Amazing

The finalists for the USA Kids Mullet Championships have been revealed, and it’s safe to say that those who made the cut are sporting some pretty incredible ‘dos. The mullet has made a serious comeback in recent years, and even kids are getting involved in the trend. Now, 25 children will battle it out for the title later this year.

  1. The finalists were announced on the official Facebook page. The USA Mullet Championships shared photos of the 25 junior finalists along with a message that read: “Let’s give it up for the 2022 Kids Top 25 ! It was a close race at the finish for those last few spots into the finals. We will now take a short break before the Final round takes place. Voting will happen on our website (Date-TBD). Parents will be contacted this week as well to go over how the finals will work. Thanks again to everyone who voted for all these amazing kids! We hope you are having a blast.”
  2. There are so many different mullets on display. Some of the kids had shorter mullets, while others grew theirs impressively long. Some were even curly, adding an extra bit of flair to the hairstyle.
  3. Picking a winner is going to be hard. As commenters mentioned, all of the kids’ mullets are kind of amazing. How on earth can the judges pick just one winner? “How to pick one? They’re all glorious,” one person remarked. Another said: “Every single one of these haircuts is certified bad ass i dont know how anyone could choose just one.” A third added: “Any human with a mullet is a winner.”
  4. There were a few naysayers, of course. A few people claimed that giving kids mullets is akin to child abuse, but fans were quickly to knock those claims down. “I’m all about making fun of folks and making them feel bad when they deserve it but these are children, they don’t deserve it and they look great. Adults need to shut their traps and let these kids have fun. These are just little guys,” one person clapped back.
  5. The USA Kids Mullet Championships are for a good cause. The competition raises money for charity, with the kids and teens versions raising $3,500 to donate to Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan, Inc. “Our donation was made this morning and we are hopeful that we can make a small difference in some kids!” the Facebook page stated. That’s awesome!
