You Can Now Buy A Vibrator At The Dollar Store, If You Dare

While money is tight for many of us right now and we all like a bargain, I’m not so sure about the idea of paying a little more than $1 for a vibrator. Sure, intimate toys don’t have to cost an arm and a leg, and there are a fair few basic ones you can get for less than $20. However, UK-based Poundland, the British equivalent of a dollar store, is offering potentially the biggest bargain yet.

  1. It’s called Caress. And yes, it really is selling for £1, which is about $1.25 USD. It’s described as “small, slim and super strong” and is a metallic gold color. The vibrator itself looks pretty basic, all said and done, but what do you expect for £1?
  2. It comes with batteries included. Not only are you getting the toy itself for just over $1 but you’re getting the batteries you need to operate it too! The good news just keeps on getting better here!
  3. This isn’t the first time Poundland got into the intimate toy game. Back in 2016, they introduced a bullet vibrator for the same price, just over $1, and it was “an immediate best seller,” according to store reps. This new model will likely appeal to just as many customers.
  4. Admittedly, I’m not sure I’d trust this near my nether regions. I know that price doesn’t necessarily indicate quality, but I would be a little hesitant to put a $1 vibrator down by my lady bits. What if it overheats and catches fire? What if a part comes off and pinches me or something? I’m just concerned about the level of craftsmanship that has gone into this and how safe it actually is to use, but maybe I’m being overly cautious.
  5. At the end of the day, I’m sure this will sell out in no time. After all, if you’re tight on cash but feeling a bit freaky, where else are you going to get a vibrator for $1 (sorry, £1)? Nowhere.
