Vlasic Is Selling Dill Pickle Chips And Snacking Just Got A Lot Tastier Vlasic

Dill pickles are really having a moment right now. They’re salty, slightly sour, and an overall incredibly delicious snack. Vlasic has some of the best pickles in the game, and now they’re elevating that game to the next level by creating dill pickle chips that are bound to become everyone’s new favorite.

  1. These things are 100% pickle. Thanks to Conagra Foods, Vlasic’s parent company, these dill pickle chips are made with 100% vacuum-fried pickles. Because of the fact that there’s no artificial flavoring or other additives, the chips contain “essentially no calories or carbs.” A definite plus!
  2. So why not just eat pickles? Easy: while they’re delicious, especially when you get to down the jar of leftover pickle juice when you’re finished, they can be a little messy, especially when you’re on the go. As Conagra’s co-chief operating officer explained, “eating pickles out of a conventional jar is inconvenient and messy, and pickle snacks are actually becoming a thing.” Couldn’t agree more!
  3. It’s always nice to have snacks with your drinks. If you like to unwind at night with a glass of wine, some beer, or even a few cocktails, it’s nice to have a savory snack to go along with it and help absorb a little of the alcohol, right? I can’t think of anything that would go better with booze than Vlasic dill pickle chips, can you?
  4. Sadly, the product is still in development. While Conagra was developing this product as far back as 2019, it seems like there’s still no release date for when we can expect bags of Vlasic dill pickle chips to reach our local stores, which seriously sucks. I guess all we can do is keep our eyes peeled and fingers crossed because I can tell this is going to become THE snack of 2020 (even if only in my house).
