What Is The P-Spot & Why Can It Make Sex So Much Better For Your Guy?

If you assumed only women have a G-spot, guess again! Men also have an erogenous zone so similar to the female G-spot that it’s called the male version of it, although sometimes it’s referred to as the P-spot. Here’s what you need to know about it before your next sex session with your BF.

  1. What’s the P-spot? The “P” in P-spot stands for the prostate gland. This gland is found between the penis and bladder, and it’s more important for a guy’s sex life than he might realize.
  2. What the prostate does. The prostate secretes prostate fluid, which is one of the ingredients of semen, and muscles found in the prostate gland move this fluid to the urethra when a man ejaculates. It’s also a tender erogenous zone, which makes things much more interesting.
  3. The prostate is a walnut. Not exactly, but it’s about the size and texture of a walnut. Stimulating the prostate gland by inserting a finger into the guy’s anus will help you find the P-spot. It’s located about two or three inches inside the anus. You can also indirectly stimulate it by stroking the perineum, that strip of skin between his testicles and anus.
  4. The p-spot creates explosive orgasms. The reason why the prostate gland is known as the P-spot is because it can cause full-body orgasms for men that result in tingling sensations all over their bodies. Touching and rubbing the prostate gland is so sensual because it’s packed with nerve endings—almost the same amount as what’s found in the clitoris. Wow!
  5. It increases the length of his orgasm. Prostate orgasms can feel better than penile ones because they’re deeper and last longer, according to Martha Rosenthal, Ph.D., author of Human Sexuality: From Cells To Society. So, when he has a P-spot orgasm, it means he’s getting a taste of what it’s like when you have a G-spot orgasm.
  6. He might be raring to go. Knowing how to find his P-spot might be hot AF for him. Sex toy manufacturer LELO conducted a survey which found that 71 percent of straight men in relationships have tried or would like to try a prostate massager, which is a sex toy that’s all about stimulating the prostate gland.
  7. What you need to know about prostate toys. These toys or massagers tend to be thin, with a large tip that’s angled just right so that it can touch and stimulate the prostate gland much easier. But other sex toys can also work to stimulate the prostate gland, such as butt plugs and vibrators.
  8. P-spot orgasms can be sexy for women too. P-spot orgasms can be interesting and arousing to give a man in the bedroom. If you think that, you’re not alone. The same LELO study found that 80 percent of women would perform a prostate massage if their partner was down for it. Why not? It’s so sexy to see him writhing in pleasure.
  9. So, how do you find the P-spot? As mentioned above, the male G-spot is about two or three inches inside the rectum. But when you go looking for it, you have to move your fingers in the direction of his belly button. The prostate gland will feel rough and spongy.
  10. Take your time. You’re not going to find the male G-spot and make him orgasm immediately, especially if you’re rushing it or he’s never experienced it before. Be patient to make the experience more satisfying.
  11. It can create quick orgasms. Touching and stroking the prostate gland could actually cause a quick orgasm for him. It’s best done in combination with other sexual acts, such as oral sex, to increase the pleasure. Bear in mind not every guy is going to have a quick and dirty P-spot orgasm.
  12. Never take him by surprise! If you’re keen on trying to find his P-spot, it might be a good idea to try while you’re giving him oral sex. If he’s already turned on and relaxed, this will make it easier. However, always check if it’s cool to go ahead before doing it—he might really be against the idea!
  13. He’s keen. now what? If your BF’s keen for prostate stimulation, here’s what you do. Get lots of lube on your fingers so that it’ll feel nicer for him – and cut those long nails so you don’t injure him! Remember, the anus doesn’t self-lubricate. Once you’ve located the prostate gland, make a “come hither” movement with your finger to stimulate the spot.
  14. His prostate is similar to the G-spot. The prostate and female G-spot have loads in common. They’re both wrapped around the urethra under the bladder. They become bigger during arousal and self-lubricate. They also create sexual arousal that feels most amazing when they’re stimulated along with the rest of the body. So, if you’re stimulating his G-spot with one hand, use your other hand to touch his balls, thighs, or nipples.
  15. P-spot orgasms aren’t just for beta males. It’s a total myth that only certain kinds of guys will be keen on P-spot stimulation. For instance, some people think that a man who’s okay with a woman taking the lead, such as a beta man, is the only one who’ll be keen on P-spot stimulation, but that’s not true. Same goes for the myth that only gay guys like P-spot action. Many straight, alpha guys like P-spot orgasms because it gives them the chance to experience totally new and full-bodied stimulation.
  16. It’s good for his health! Your BF might orgasm from P-spot stimulation without even having his penis touched. This is known as a dry orgasm. But regular ejaculation keeps the prostate gland healthy, even preventing illnesses such as cancer. In fact, studies have found that having a minimum of four orgasms every week decreases a man’s chance of getting prostate cancer by 33 percent! So give him a mix of P-spot and penis orgasms to keep him healthy and horny AF.
