A Missouri woman was arrested after she ran naked across a high school football field wearing only a scarf while high on heroin. Lacey Uthe, from Jefferson City, jumped the fence at Helias Football Stadium and sprinted across the field in front of 29 eighth-graders who were taking part in a youth program.
- It didn’t take long for police to arrive on the scene. Uthe was arrested and taken to a local hospital for evaluation before being taken to Cole County Jail and held without bond.
- Uthe admitted that she was struggling with addiction. When interviewed by officers, Uthe fully admitted to police that she had taken heroin and said that she was seeking help for her addiction as she worried she might die because of it. She claimed she left her house naked to seek assistance, ABC 17 reported.
- She’s now facing pretty serious charges in relation to the incident. Given that young students were present during her stunt, Uthe was charged with sexual misconduct involving a child under 15, which is considered a Class E felony and could carry a pretty serious prison sentence if she’s convicted.
