A woman on TikTok is cracking her followers up after revealing that she still messages a guy from Tinder who stood her up over a year ago if he’s on his way. Christine, who posts as @benjollo, revealed that not only does she message the guy lightheartedly, but he even responds and plays along!

- It’s all in good fun for Christine. “Thinking about how I got stood up by a Tinder date a year ago and I still [message] him every now and again saying: ‘Hey are you on your way?'” she captioned the clip. She even had Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” playing over the track. In other words, yes, she knows it sounds nuts, and that’s why it’s so funny.
- The guy actually plays along. While you would assume the guy who stood her up would have blocked her by now, that’s not the case at all. “The best part is he just plays along and is like: ‘Yeah sorry I’m running late I’ll be right there,'” she said. I guess you’ve gotta give him credit for having the audacity!
- Christine’s followers were cracking up. “That’s honestly so damn funny,” one person wrote. Another added: “This is hilarious. Keep it up queen.” And while it’s kinda messed up that she got stood up in the first place, it’s good to see that it didn’t get her down too much and that she has an amazing sense of humor about it. You kind of have to if you’re going to date these days!
- Some people even think Christine and Tinder guy are meant to end up together. “Y’all are gonna get married one day,” one person suggested. While that seems pretty unlikely, I suppose wilder things have happened. Christine did reply to a comment from a follower asking if she had actually ever met the guy, and she said that they did actually meet up once. No idea what happened from there!
