Woman Caught Breastfeeding Her Hairless Cat On A Delta Flight

A woman on a Delta flight from Syracuse, New York to Atlanta, Georgia caused quite a stir when she exposed her breasts and started breastfeeding her hairless cat, the New York Post reports. The unidentified woman was repeatedly told by a flight attended to stop but she refused. What on earth is going on with people these days?!

  1. A message was sent back to crew on the ground about the woman’s behavior. A message was sent through the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to let Delta staff in Atlanta know that the passenger in seat 13A “is breastfeeding a cat and will not put cat back in its carrier when [flight attendant requested].”
  2. A flight attendant on board the flight took to TikTok to explain what happened. According to Newsweek, flight attendant Ainsley Elizabeth revealed on TikTok that “security met the flight because a woman was breastfeeding her cat.” In a follow-up video posted November 13, she said: “This woman had one of those, like, hairless cats swaddled up in a blanket so it looked like a baby. 3. No, the woman didn’t get in trouble. Instead, Ainsley revealed, security just told her not to do it again. “What does she do at home if she’s doing that in public?” she asked. “And then security met the flight just to tell her that she couldn’t do that again, cause it was weird and gross.”
  4. Breastfeeding individuals are allowed to feed children on flights but not cats. “Delta fully supports a woman’s right to breastfeed on board Delta and Delta Connection aircraft and in Delta facilities. Breast pumps are allowed on board. At the airport and if you prefer, many airports do offer private lactation rooms or spaces,” the airline’s policy states.
