Woman Calls Out Narcissistic Hinge Match For Only Talking About Himself

A woman on TikTok has shared that she was forced to call out a self-absorbed Hinge match who literally only talked about himself throughout their conversation. Kyra, who posts as @itskyra.notkyra, said she’d been chatting to the guy on Hinge for nearly a week, during which he never asked her a single question about herself. WTF?

  1. Kyra had to carry the entire conversation between them. As she shared in a recent clip: “The best thing just happened to me. I’ve been chatting with this guy for almost a week, since last Sunday, and I have not been asked a single thing. I have asked every question. He has given me answers and no more. I have carried the whole thing by myself.” Ugh, we’ve all had interactions like that!
  2. She shared some screenshots of their conversation and she’s right – it was all one-way traffic. She encouraged viewers to pause the clip at any point so they could see that she was the one “asking questions and keeping it going.” She asked him if he had any good stories about a recent trip he took, where he traveled, etc. He asked her… nothing.
  3. The guy really wasn’t much of a giver. Kyra noted that the guy was “giving me nothing in response” and that “after three days of it, this idea popped into my mind, and I was like: ‘You know what, you get maybe one chance to actually pull this off.'”
  4. Kyra put her plan into action. At one point, Kyra messaged the guy saying that she was going to have to seek treatment for a knee injury. “Might have to book a physio appointment for the weekend. My knees are wrecked after this week,” she wrote. Her Hinge match took the bait and asked her what happened, to which Kyra replied: “Oh they’re just mangled after carrying this entire conversation by myself.” Got him!
  5. Her followers were loving the savage comeback. “Couldn’t have gone a week though so fair play to them knees,” one person remarked. Another added: “I know this high!!! You DID win.” However, others insisted she should never have let this guy’s nonsense go on for so long. “Don’t waste that much time when you probably knew his pattern [from] day one,” one person advised. Another admitted to similar experiences, writing: “Men do that all the time. I think it’s because they honestly believe that having a conversation just involves talking about themselves.”
