Woman Falls Out Her Car Window Onto Highway While Filming A Snapchat Video

A British woman is fortunate to be alive after she fell out a car window and onto a highway while filming a Snapchat video. Police in Surrey, England said the woman only survived out of pure “luck” given that there is usually heavy traffic on the M25 motorway where the incident occurred on Saturday, September 19.

  1. The woman was hanging out the passenger side window. While it’s a good thing she wasn’t the driver, it’s still incredibly stupid and irresponsible to be hanging out the window of a moving vehicle on a major highway, as the unnamed victim soon learned.
  2. While the video hasn’t been made public, some members of the press have obtained it. They say the clip shows the young woman hanging out the window with the caption reading “I need to stop doing this 110mph imma (sic) end up dead,” according to The Sun. She very nearly did end up dead, so she wasn’t wrong.
  3. Oddly enough, police decided not to press charges. After being treated at the scene by paramedics for injuries that were “not life-threatening or life-changing,” Surrey Police decided against arresting the young woman or the driver despite the dangerous stunt (and the fact that she was breaking the law by not wearing a seatbelt to do it in the first place).
  4. Surrey Police shared a photo of the vehicle on Twitter. It was accompanied by a stark warning to fellow drivers to hopefully keep them from making the same mistake. “The front seat passenger was hanging out the car whilst filming a SnapChat video along the #M25,” they wrote. “She then fell out the car and into a live lane. It is only by luck she wasn’t seriously injured or killed. #nowords” Here’s hoping the woman in question learned her lesson and others don’t follow in her footsteps.
