When you head to the supermarket to pick up your groceries for the week or your ingredients for dinner, you don’t expect to be assaulted while you’re there. However, that’s exactly what happened to one shopper at a Walmart in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania recently. The 56-year-old woman was hit in the back of the head with cold chicken as she shopped.
- The assailant was an unnamed 20-year-old. According to local news affiliate CBS 21, the person guilty of throwing the chicken was a 20-year-old, though it hasn’t been announced whether the suspect was a man or woman.
- Police were called to deal with the event. After the woman was hit in the back of the head with the cold chicken, officers from the Pennsylvania State Police were called to the store to deal with the incident, which happened on October 7. It’s unclear whether or not anyone was arrested or if the victim suffered any injuries.
