Woman Totally Stops Doing Housework After Husband Says She ‘Does Nothing Around The House’

While it’d be great if all relationships were 50/50 at all times, that’s just not the reality for most couples. However, as long as we’re all striving for balance and trying to pull our weight, we’re on the right track. Perhaps that’s why TikToker Lindsay Donnelly was so infuriated when her husband made an offhand comment accusing her of not doing anything around the house. To show him exactly how much she does, Lindsay completely stopped with the housework for a few days and the effects were pretty hardcore.

In a now-viral video, Lindsay films herself looking annoyed as the caption reveals her husband’s rude and kinda clueless claim that she doesn’t do anything. “Then I left town for a girls trip… #marriagehumor,” she wrote.

Then we’re treated to a variety of shots around Lindsay’s and her husband’s house, which is full of junk everywhere. The dishes are unwashed, the laundry unsorted, and mess is all over the place, all because Lindsay decided to take her husband at his word and really do nothing for two days.

Lindsay later posted a follow-up video that her husband actually took part in. He explained why he said what he said and also apologized for his comment. Given how badly her husband was roasted by millions of people online, it’s not surprising that he wanted to come on and set the record straight.

Sadly, Lindsay also felt the need to praise her husband in follow-up videos, going overboard to explain that he cleans more than she does and makes all her vegetarian meals the way she likes them, amidst other tasks any caring partner would do for their other half. She even describes him as “almost perfect,” which I think we can all agree is total bullshit because the perfect partner does not exist. We’re all human – it’s okay to accept that!

Replying to @kris he agreed that was a real 💩 thing to say
