A North Dakota woman is in hot water after she allegedly got a bit frisky with a sheriff’s deputy while at a local pub. Sandra D. Kobs-Sabo, 50, really loves “a man in uniform” but got a bit too excited when spotting an officer in the early hours of Saturday morning and decided to smack his butt “in an aggressive manner” while he and another officer were doing some routine checks on the premises, the Grand Forks Herald reported.
- It all went down at the Crossroads Tavern. Two deputies from the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office showed up to do a bar check. However, things got a bit out of hand when, as a probable cause affidavit obtained by the Bismark Tribune revealed, Kobs-Sabo “jogged” up to one of the officers and “took a large swing and slapped him in the buttocks.”
- Kobs-Sabo really put some force behind it. It wasn’t quite a “love tap” she gave the officer. In fact, the smack “caused the officer pain” and was so hard, it led the officer to arrest Kobs-Sabo on the spot.
- She wasn’t deterred by being arrested. While you would think being cuffed and loaded into the back of a police car would be enough to quell the desire to get frisky with an officer, you’d be wrong. The report revealed that even after her arrest, Kobs-Sabo continued catcalling the deputy and referring to him as a “sexy cop.” She continued to ask him if he was married the entire drive to the Burleigh Morton Detention Center.
- Kobs-Sabo “could not believe” she was being locked up. In her eyes, she didn’t do anything wrong, which is why she was shocked to be “going to jail for slapping a sexy copy in the ass.” However, she wasn’t just arrested – she was also charged with simple assault against a police officer, which is a class C felony, as well as sexual assault for offensive contact, which is a class A misdemeanor. She was released from custody after posting bond.
