Woman Who Poked Holes In Partner’s Condoms To Get Pregnant Gets Jail Sentence

A German woman was found guilty of sexual assault and sentenced to a suspended six months behind bars for poking holes in her partner’s condoms in an attempt to get pregnant, DW reports. It was an unusual case of stealthing in the country, particularly because it was carried out by a woman.

  1. The woman had been in a friends with benefits relationship with the victim. They’d had their arrangement since 2021 and would meet up regularly to sleep together, though they were not in a formal relationship.
  2. She developed deeper feelings for the man. However, he didn’t reciprocate her feelings and wanted to keep things casual. Unable to accept his lack of deeper interest in her, she decided to poke holes in the condoms they used.
  3. Thankfully, the abuser never did get pregnant. However, she did send the man a WhatsApp message claiming that she was. She also admitted in the message to tampering with the condoms.
  4. The man rightfully decided to press charges. The suspect admitted to stealthing in court but given the lack of precedent in such a case, judges were initially unsure of what punishment to hand down. Eventually, she was charged with sexual assault. Judge Salewski said: “The condoms were rendered unusable without the man’s knowledge or his consent. No means no here as well.”
