A young woman who suffered a horrific car crash expressed thanks to the beautician who gave her “poppin’ lashes” that stayed in place throughout the entire ordeal. Katarina Montes could easily have died, but in addition to being grateful for her life, she was also pleased with looking incredible despite what she’d just been through.

- A van is said to have driven into Katarina. According to reports, her car was completely destroyed and Katarina experienced a head injury as a result of the crash. She had to spend three weeks in the hospital to recover, which shows just how serious it is.
- Katarina was thrilled about those eyelashes. You would think that during a traumatic crash, the lashes would be dislodged or even ripped off. Not so here, and Katarina had to let beautician Valeria Brianna know how grateful she was. “Hey!! I might sound crazy but I just wanted to say you are literally the bestt lash artist ever cause GIRL I was in a really bad car accident on the 30th and the lashes still lasted look!” Katarina texted Valeria. “They were still poppin. I’m healing now, don’t worry!”
- Valeria was pretty excited about the feedback. So much so that she decided to share Katarina’s message with her Twitter followers. The results were overwhelmingly positive, leading to much more exposure for Valeria’s small business.
- Don’t worry, Katarina is doing just fine. In addition to still having “poppin’ lashes,” Katarina’s health is fully restored following the accident on October 30. “My accident was on October 30th. All jokes aside, when I say I am blessed to still be here I TRULY mean it and I thank God everyday along with emergency response, drs, nurses, surgeons, EVERYONE. Which is why I texted Val thanking her too ;)! Glory goes to God,” Katarina shared on Twitter on November 22. Looks like it’s good news all-around!
