Woman Uses Tampon Serial Number To Catch Cheating Boyfriend

A suspicious British woman went to great lengths to uncover her boyfriend’s lying, cheating ways by using a tampon’s serial number to expose him. Lois Sanders, 23, took to TikTok this week to reveal that she’d found the tampon and a tube of mascara under the closet of her boyfriend’s dorm room, and while he claimed it didn’t belong to him and must have belonged to a previous resident, Lois thought better.

  1. Lois’s boyfriend, Finn, proclaimed his innocence. In the video, Lois can be seen crouching in front of the closet and calling Finn out on what she found. “I’ve just found a tampon and a mascara under Finn’s wardrobe, and he’s in denial that he’s had a girl here,” she says in the clip. When he insists that it must have belonged to whoever lived there before him, she points out that there’s not enough dust on it for that to be the case.
  2. She decided to take matters into her own hands. Realizing that Finn was never going to fess up, Lois contacted Procter & Gamble, the maker of the Tampax, and asked for their assistance. “Hello. What is the code on the side of the individual tampon for?” she asked in an email to the customer service team. “I have a tampon with the code 93452080N2. It’s yellow; regular. Can you tell me when this was manufactured? … I am doing some investigation.”
  3. Tampax actually got the information back to her. Shortly after sending her email, Tampax responded, saying: “Based on the code … the tampon was made December 11, 2019.” Tampax was also quick to point out that there is no expiration date on tampons but they do have a shelf life of five years
  4. Guess what: Finn was telling the truth. Lois said that the date the tampon was made far preceded the date that Finn moved in meaning there was no way the tampon belonged to him or another woman he was sleeping with. “He had obviously never swept under the wardrobe … I believe him. We are still together, and very happy!” she said later. At least that settles that!
