Woman Wins $60 Million Lottery By Playing Numbers In Her Husband’s Dream

A Canadian woman won the $60 million jackpot on the lottery after playing the numbers from her husband’s dream. Deng Pravatoudom from Toronto had been playing the same numbers since her husband dreamt them two decades ago, and while it may have taken nearly 20 years to pay off, it’s safe to say it did the end!

  1. Pravatoudom has never given up on those numbers. She told the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp about the incredible history of her chosen numbers. It’s unclear why she believed random numbers in her husband’s dream would be lucky, but it’s clear that persistence here was the key. Winning $60 million is a pretty good pay-off!
  2. The money will come in handy. Sadly, Pravatoudom was laid off from her job because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which means that this $47 million lottery win will definitely find its use and help relieve the financial stress her family has been facing since then.
  3. She’s also planning to treat her family as well. Because millions of dollars is more than enough to get by on, Pravatoudom also plans to buy some nice things for her adult children. “With this money, I will be capable of helping my children out more, whatever they want I will be able to buy it for them, a car and new clothes,” she said.
  4. She collected her winnings in a virtual ceremony. Pravatoudom took part in a “virtual winner celebration” — the first ever hosted by the lottery due to the pandemic. “I was ecstatically happy, I was crying at the same time. I cried so much,” she recalled of discovering her win. “I left my temple after prayers, went to a nearby mall for some errands and to check my LOTTO MAX ticket. I won a Free Play ticket and added ENCORE. I couldn’t believe a few days later that free ticket would be worth $60 million.”
