Woody Harrelson Writes Poem For Baby Who Looks Exactly Like Him

A family from Northern Ireland was shocked when a tweet about their 9-month-old daughter looking like Woody Harrelson not only went viral but got a response from the man himself. Danielle Grier Mulvenna posted an adorable photo of baby Cora laughing next to a photo of Harrelson and joked about the resemblance between the pair. It wasn’t long before Harrelson responded in poem form.

  1. It was a simple enough tweet. Mulvenna simply wrote: “Ok but how does our daughter look like Woody Harrelson.” She accompanied the message with side-by-side photos and it’s not difficult to see just how similar they do look. The tweet got nearly half a million likes and thousands of replies, one of which came from Harrelson himself.
  2. Harrelson penned his ‘Ode to Cora’ on Instagram. He shared a screencap of Mulvenna’s original tweet and added it in his response. “Ode to Cora / You’re an adorable child/ Flattered to be compared / You have a wonderful smile / I just wish I had your hair / @danigriermulvenna” he wrote.
  3. Mulvenna was overjoyed with receiving a response from Harrelson. She commented on the actor’s Instagram post, writing: “You’ve made our day. Can’t wait to show her this when she’s older, you have another fan for life xxx.” She added on Twitter: “It’s not every day Woody Harrelson writes your daughter a poem.”
  4. Mulvenna then shared another adorable photo of Cora to thank people for their support. Along with the picture, she said: “Cora says, thank you all so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn’t always look like Woody Harrelson, it’s just that when she does…she really really does xxx.” Yeah, she definitely does.
