The World’s Strongest Gin With 95% ABV Has Just Been Released

If you’ve ever been enjoying a nice gin and tonic on your front porch on a warm summer’s evening (or on your couch on a cold winter’s night) and thought, “Man, if only this gin was stronger!” then you’re in luck. A company called Anno Gin has just released the world’s strongest version of the alcohol with a whopping 95% ABV.

  1. The Anno Extreme 95 Gin was a long time in the making. The company was founded by a group of scientists who left the industry and decided to work on alcohol instead, and this perhaps the greatest product they’ve come up with. It’s not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure!
  2. It’s full of botanical flavors. The world’s strongest gin has notes of nutmeg, liquorice, fennel, and coriander, to give a unique, full-bodied flavor. It’s said to contain “robust juniper and smooth spices” that “soften into a fresh bite of citrus with sweet herbal notes,” while it offers a “long, dry and complex” finish. I’m already sold!
  3. It’s all about “the spirit of alchemy.” According to a statement from the company, based out of Kent in England, the world’s strongest gin wasn’t just out to set records, it aimed to break boundaries in the alcohol industry. “Developed by scientists with a taste for adventure and pushing the limits of possibility, Anno Extreme 95 Gin was produced with one goal in mind – to create ‘the spirit of alchemy,'” they said. “A gin that packs more punch and flavor, drop for drop, than any other spirit in the world.”
  4. No, this doesn’t mean you should get extra drunk. In fact, in reality, the world’s strongest gin allows you to enjoy a gin and tonic with only 5ml of Anno Extreme, so you get the full effect with less alcohol, which can only be a good thing. However, if you really wanted to, you could always use a full 25ml, which “gives you a huge botanical hit with a higher strength.” It’s up to you!
