Yuengling Has Released A Hershey’s Chocolate Beer, So Now Dessert Can Get You Drunk Yuengling

Yuengling has been making Dark Brewed Porter for nearly 200 years now, so they know what they’re doing when it comes to beer. However, just because a tried and true recipe is a classic doesn’t mean you can’t innovate from time to time, and that’s exactly what the brand decided to do when they teamed up with Hershey’s to create the Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter. I need this now!

  1. Even the description sounds delicious. Yuengling’s porter is still the star of the show here, but this time it’s combined with “Hershey’s chocolate, caramel, and dark-roasted malts for a rich brew with a chocolate-y finish,” according to Best Products. That’s the kind of beverage we can all get behind.
  2. It makes the perfect after-dinner drink. If you’re not one for proper desserts but still like a little something sweet after your meal, Yuengling and Hershey’s have got you covered. The beer has a sweet finish but isn’t cloying in any way, so it’s the perfect way to enjoy a treat without getting too much of a sugar rush.
  3. It’s only available in bars and restaurants. Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter came out in October 2019 but is only available in bars and restaurants in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, and Washington, D.C. so if you don’t live in one of those states, you’ll need to do a little traveling.
  4. It has as much alcohol as a typical beer. The ABV for Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter is 4.7%, so pretty typical for a beer. You won’t get drunk off of just one, but you will enjoy it for sure. “This Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter is sure to surprise and delight the chocolate fans and the avid beer-lovers among us that are looking to try something new and delicious,” Ernie Savo, senior director of global licensing and business development at The Hershey Company, said in a press release.
  5. So where can you find it? If you want the specifics, Yuengling thankfully has a product locator on its website so you can get some of this down your gullet ASAP. You can access it HERE.
